The DFI board with its 790FX chipset has a set of full PCI-Express 2.0 x16 lanes for CrossFire, whereas the MSI with its 790GX only sports a pair of PCI-Express 2.0 x8 slots. Strangely though, it's the MSI that exceeds the performance of the DFI yet again in Crysis by more than just a couple of frames per second. The DFI is strangely unable to handle this particular game engine quite so well, despite its bandwidth advantage.

Again, we see that the DFI lags slightly behind the MSI here in Far Cry 2, although the difference between the two boards is less than it was with a single GeForce GTX 280.

Finally in HL2: E2 the DFI scores a win by a couple of frames per second, but at nearly 160 fps that's only a single percent difference.
